يعتبر ابن بطوطة كواحد من أشهر واهم الرحالة عبر التاريخ. ونظرا" لفرادة
عمله ورحلاته اشتهر عالميا" حتى أطلقت عليه جامعة كمبردج البريطانية
اسم "أمير الرحالة". لكونه أول من ارتحل متنقلا" بين دول العالم القديم، آسيا
120 وأفريقيا وجنوب شرق وجنوب غرب أوروبا. قاطعا" مسافات سفر تعادل
ألف كيلومتر على مدى اكثر من ربع قرن، بين عامي 1325
و1352م. ثم وضع خلاصة اسفاره ومشاهداته في كتاب "تحفة النظار في
.غرائب الامصار وعجائب الاسفار" المعروف باسم رحلة ابن بطوطة

The series, Ibn Battuta, portrays the historical events that
surrounded the explorer Ibn Battuta, whose heroism and
humane efforts lead to his recognition as one of the most
quintessential explorers throughout documented history.
His achievements throughout his journeys and his distinguished
works have transcended time, allowing Ibn Battuta to be
recognized internationally. His years of exploring took him far and
beyond his hometown, and in this series, we will learn more
about his exciting adventures as he travels around the world.
