Generations of students are desperately seeking an answer.
We must admit that in our daily or professional lives, very few of
us use mathematics. How can one attract children to a
discipline which is often seen as "too abstract"?
Today, what is high-level mathematics? What are their practical
applications? In order to answer these questions, our investigator
meets researchers in pure mathematics, but also mathematical
application users in the fields of computer science, biology and
finance.
